In 2006, a band (really a duo) called The Format released an album that I really liked and Trip completely looooooved. And then they broke up. Now the half of The Format known as Nate Ruess is back with a new band called fun (note the lower-case “f”). And they sound exactly like The Format. Which is a good thing. An album is due in ’09, but until then, you can enjoy a free download of the song “Benson Hedges.”
