Think you know everything there is to know about luxury brands? Well now you can show and prove...with a degree. In luxury. yup. The International University of Monaco will be offering a master's degree in luxury retail. The program will be taught in English and luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren and Gucci as well as others will be participating. The 35 students will enjoy a 7 month intership and will learn the history, main trends and competitive dynamics of the retail luxury industry. The university says the course has been created in response for the demand for staff who are specialists in the luxury market.
"Gone are the days when it was easy to sell luxury goods based on the allure of the brand alone," says a spokeswoman for the university.
I barely completed 2 years at Southern Connecticut State University and some workshop classes at FIT due to my inability to sit still in class...but I could ace this program. I have a sick obsession with Monaco...and luxury goods.
Hell, the campus alone is reason to go...
