The owners tell the newspaper that they are looking to downsize from the 16-acre property with a five-bedroom and three-and-a-half bath farmhouse, and four outbuildings because their three daughters have left home.
The movie is based on John Grogan’s memoir, “Marley & Me,” and tells the story of a fun-loving yellow Labrador retriever.
Scouts for the movie’s production company decided on the Chester County home after looking through Pennsylvania and Connecticut, the daily Local News reports.
