Users of Netflix have been complaining for the past few hours on Twitter about the discontinuation of its online services, which include the $7.99 a month streaming feature and the service to order DVDs.
Netflix, which has 23.3 million users in United States and Canada, has so far not responded to its users' queries regarding the break down.
Users of Netflix are anxious following the recent incidences of hacking in services provided by Sony and Sega.
Since Friday, all Sony movies have stopped streaming without giving any clear indication of when the services will be restored.
“You may have noticed that Sony movies through StarzPlay are not currently available to watch instantly . . . This is the result of a temporary contract issue between Sony and Starz and, while these two valued partners work through their differences, we hope you are enjoying the wide variety of new movies and TV shows added daily,” posted Netflix on its blog referring to breakdown in streaming of Sony movies.
